Hi and welcome to my Podshow Podcast site!

With the encouragement of serveral of my podcasting friends, I entered into the world of podcasting! How did I start? Well, a few years ago, my manager, and mother, was trying to promote my cover tune album and put music on the Podsafe Music Network! We realized quickly that cover tunes were not "Podsafe!" So, I started writing songs and eventually started my own podcast!

Karmyn Kast

Karmyn Tyler is a former Miss Louisiana now residing in California. She is an actress, singer, songwriter, podcaster, vocal teacher and pageant coach. Karmyn has appeared as a principle talent in numerous national commercials including Applebees, EyeMasters, Lincoln/Mercury and is currently in a Half-Price Books commercial. She co-starred with country artist Mark Colley in Alabama Love Story and most recently as Harriet Korda in a Lifetime Television Movie Inspector Mom with Danica McKellar. Other television credits include work on Desperate Housewives; Assistant DA on Boston Legal and an intern in Grey’s Anatomy.

 

Her musical theatre & opera credits include P. Burke in Weird Romance, Sister Mary Leo in Nunsense, Guinevere in Camelot, and Pamina in the Magic Flute. Karmyn attended Centenary College and has fine arts degrees in drama and vocal performance and also has a Bachelor of Applied Arts & Science in administration from Texas A&M. She recorded her first self-titled album in 2004 and will release her second album of original tunes in 2008. The unique arrangement of Gershwin’s Summertime from her first album was nominated for a Grammy award in 2005. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, Actors’ Equity, NARAS (Grammys), BMI, and the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
